Helping humans grow through storytelling, emotional intelligence, neuroscience, play, and a tiny bit of beautifully controlled chaos.
Just intelligent, creative, evidence-informed tools built by a therapist with 20+ years of experience and a brain that refuses to color inside the lines. โจ
Your brain is not broken. It's not "too much." It's not a problem to be managed. It's a complex, creative system that just might need different tools than the beige, one-size-fits-all approaches you've been handed.
Whether you're a teacher running on caffeine and good intentions, a parent trying to decode your kid's emotional landscape, a therapist looking for resources that actually engage clients, or a human whose brain simply runs on a different operating system โ you belong in the workshop.
And if someone once told you to "just try harder"?
Yeah. We don't do that here. ๐ฆ
Exhausted by lifeless curricula? These tools actually engage students.
Resources that speak their language โ not a boring adult's version of it.
Navigate emotional storms without losing your mind in the process.
ADHD, autism, twice-exceptional โ finally, tools designed for your brain.
Ethical, creative resources that make your sessions more engaging.
Anyone who suspects emotional growth deserves better design.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working with children, teens, families, and educators.
Some therapists collect certifications. I collected questions.

So I started building something different.
Creative Resilience Counseling is where psychology meets storytelling, neuroscience meets play, and therapeutic strategies meet curiosity, humor, creativity, and actual human engagement.
Because people learn better when they feel emotionally safe, intellectually curious, and meaningfully engaged.
The brain likes novelty. I simply stopped pretending otherwise. โจ
A warm, evidence-informed universe of therapeutic resources, executive functioning supports, SEL tools, digital experiences, games, and curiosity-powered learning โ designed for wonderfully complicated human brains.
Because learning happens faster when you actually want to participate. Gamified interventions that feel like play and work like therapy.
Game-Based LearningSocial-emotional learning tools that don't make kids feel like they're being managed. Strength-based, engaging, and actually fun.
Social-Emotional LearningDesigned for brains that struggle with the getting-started part โ not just the doing part. Because "just make a list" isn't always the answer.
Executive FunctionInteractive experiences that use mystery, problem-solving, and narrative to build emotional intelligence and cognitive flexibility.
Digital ExperienceAI-enhanced educational tools, interactive apps, and weird little digital things that make the brain go "oh, interesting."
Tech IntegrationCalming strategies, visual schedules, and beautifully designed systems for humans who think in pictures, stories, and sticky notes.
Visual ToolsHere's the thing about conventional emotional regulation tools: most of them are designed by people who assume brains work a certain way. And for a lot of humans โ especially neurodivergent ones โ that assumption misses the mark by approximately a million miles.
My approach starts with a different assumption: your brain is already doing its best. It just needs strategies that work with its wiring, not against it.

#1 Brain Boss Mug โ essential for operations
Note: Treat with respect, provide snacks, and never interrupt during idea generation.
Finally โ tools that don't make my ADHD student feel like the problem. The gamified approach actually worked in ways that years of worksheets didn't. My kids ask to do these activities.
I've been a therapist for 8 years and these resources changed how I think about engagement. My neurodivergent clients actually look forward to sessions now. The shame-free framing is everything.
As a parent of a twice-exceptional kid, I've bought every tool out there. Nothing clicks like this. My daughter said 'this actually makes sense to my brain' โ and that sentence is worth everything.
Whether you're a therapist, educator, parent, or a wonderfully overwhelmed human who's tired of advice that starts with "just" โ you're in the right place. Come wander through the workshop. See what we're building.
For brains powered by curiosity, caffeine, static, and approximately six emotional support raccoons. ๐ฆ
